Privacy policy

Effective Oct 2, 2026. This policy covers gmooca.org, operated by GMOOCA, Inc., a North Carolina corporation. The community forums at gmooca.org/Community will have their own policy when they open.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you picked and your message.
• Launch notification sign-ups. When you ask to be told when the forums open, we store your email address and the date you signed up.
• Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web host records technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are kept for a limited time by the host.

We don’t use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and this site doesn’t set cookies.

How we use it

We use contact details only to reply to you, and launch sign-ups only to send the launch announcement. We don’t sell, rent or share your information with anyone, except our web and email providers who handle it on our behalf, or where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Write to compliance@gmooca.org. To stop launch emails, reply to any email from us or write to that same address. After the launch announcement is sent, we delete the sign-up list unless you’ve joined the community.

Children

This site is meant for adults and isn’t directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
