Player tracking

Player tracking turns play into points, rewards and free play, the way casino loyalty programs do. GMOOCA is designing it in two forms, one for home game rooms and small floors and one for casino floors. Both are proofs of concept in development.

One insert replaces the bridge, the TITO board and the player tracking unit.

A 6.2-inch touchscreen insert for the player tracking opening below the game screen. It is the machine's only interface board.

  • SAS built in: tickets in and out, free play and bonus credits, with no PC needed.
  • Player tracking: tap a GMOOCA card on the lit ring, or use the machine's existing magstripe card reader.
  • Bonus wheel: players earn session points and spin for free play; the award lands on the credit meter.
  • Connections: Wi-Fi 6 and optional wired Ethernet to the GMOOCA app; it works standalone without them.
  • Power: the cabinet's spare 12 or 24 V.

The player experience

A player taps a card to start earning points. The screen welcomes them with their tier and points, and every set of session points unlocks a spin of the bonus wheel. Wins are added as free play straight to the machine's credit meter.

How it's built

Front to back, the insert is five layers: cover glass, an adapter plate, the core housing, the display beside a separate card-tap antenna board, and the main board.

The core is the same for every machine. A laser-cut adapter plate fits it to each cabinet family, starting with the cabinets we own.

Machine interface and player display in one bezel module, designed for casino floors.

It's a design in development, not an approved device.

  • A dedicated SAS processor keeps meters, door events and tickets running even while the display system updates.
  • Linux display system on an industry-standard plug-in module, so there's no single-vendor lock-in.
  • Bonded-glass 6.2-inch touchscreen.
  • Phone-wallet-ready card reader module.
  • One PoE+ network cable carries both data and power; cabinet power is the alternative.
  • Isolated SAS connection.
